Product Description
 Formic acid is an important chemical raw material, first discovered by Fisher in 1670. The simplest carboxylic acid has a special structure and stronger acidity than other fatty carboxylic acids. It is a colorless and transparent smoking liquid with a pungent smell, and its molecular formula is HCOOH. Relative molecular mass 46.03. Relative density 1.2196. Melting point 8.4ºC. Freezing point 7ºC. Boiling point: 100.7ºC, 50ºC (15.999×103Pa). Refractive index 1.3714. Flash point 68.9ºC. Viscosity 1.784mPa·s. Flash point 410ºC. Miscible with water, ethanol, ether, etc.

USE
1. Used to prepare formates, formate esters, formamide, etc., and also has certain uses in medicine, printing and dyeing, dyes, leather and other industries.
2. Used as chemical reagents.
3. Used as reducing agent, buffering agent, and also used in pesticide preparation
4. As a green feed additive.
5. Sterilization and mildew prevention in pulp manufacturing.
6.Fragrance enhancer. Mainly used for preparing pineapple, rum and smoked flavors. It also has the function of disinfection and antisepsis.
